Ondalan Reserva 2017 is a refined Rioja red crafted from 70% Tempranillo and 30% Graciano, aged for 14 months in American and French oak barrels. Rich aromas of ripe red and black fruits are layered with notes of cherry-filled chocolate, vanilla, and cinnamon. Full-bodied and silky on the palate, it offers excellent structure, smooth tannins, and a long, persistent finish with lingering spice and dark fruit character. A superb pairing for charcuterie, grilled meats, roasted fish, and game dishes.

Tasting Notes

Clean and bright with very fine free-run wine. High intensity with ruby red tonality. High aromatic intensity. Red and black fruits, reminding of cherry filled chocolate integrated with a touch of sweet and spiced wood (vanilla and cinnamon). On the palate voluminous, fills the mouth with silky tannins from the first moment, good body and structure. Long and persistent with an aftertaste of wood and ripe, red and black fruits.
