Shipping policy
SAVOR CAVIAR SHIPPING POLICY
Effective Date: April 28, 2026
Savor Caviar ships highly perishable luxury food products and selected wine offerings. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the shipping terms below.
1. Shipping Rates
Shipping charges are not included in product prices unless expressly stated. Shipping rates are calculated based on destination, package weight and/or order value, selected service level, and temperature or seasonal shipping conditions.
Promotional or complimentary shipping, if offered, applies only to qualifying orders and may be changed or discontinued at any time.
Wine or alcohol shipping rates may vary and may be unavailable in certain states or jurisdictions.
2. Shipping Schedule
To protect product quality, we may limit shipping days, service levels, and release timing. Orders may be held when necessary to avoid weekend delays, carrier disruptions, or unsafe weather conditions.
Any transit time displayed at checkout or elsewhere is an estimate only and is not guaranteed.
3. Weather Holds and Protective Delays
Savor Caviar may delay shipment when, in our judgment, weather or transit conditions may compromise product quality. We reserve the right to hold or reschedule shipment during extreme heat, extreme cold, major storms, holidays, or carrier service disruptions.
4. Signature and Delivery Options
Except where required by law or carrier policy, orders other than wine may be shipped without signature at the customer’s request or election.
If the customer selects no-signature delivery, carrier release, or delivery without direct acceptance, all risk after confirmed delivery passes to the customer. Savor Caviar is not responsible for theft, loss, delay in retrieval, temperature exposure, spoilage, or product condition affected after the carrier marks the package delivered.
Wine shipments may require adult signature and age verification and cannot be released without acceptance where prohibited by law or carrier policy.
5. Missed Signature / Failed Acceptance
Customers are responsible for providing a deliverable address and ensuring that an authorized recipient is available to accept delivery when signature service is selected or required.
If a shipment requires a signature or adult signature and the recipient is unavailable or otherwise fails to accept delivery on the first delivery attempt, any resulting delay, re delivery, storage, hold, or next-day delivery is at the customer’s sole risk.
Savor Caviar is not responsible for spoilage, temperature deviation, deterioration, delay, loss, or damage resulting from the recipient’s failure to timely accept the shipment. Orders delayed because the recipient was unavailable to sign for or accept delivery are not eligible for refund or replacement.
6. Delivery Address Requirements
Customers are solely responsible for providing a complete, accurate, and deliverable shipping address.
Savor Caviar is not responsible for delays, losses, unsuccessful delivery attempts, or product issues resulting from incorrect, incomplete, invalid, or undeliverable addresses provided by the customer.
Wine will not be shipped to a P.O. Box.
7. Packaging and Temperature Control
We use insulated packaging and cooling materials designed for normal transit conditions. These materials are intended to support product protection during shipment, but Savor Caviar does not guarantee the exact internal package temperature at every moment during transit or after delivery.
Packages should be retrieved promptly upon delivery and refrigerated immediately where appropriate.
8. Delivery Delays Outside Our Control
Once an order is transferred to the carrier, carrier operations are outside our control. Savor Caviar is not liable for delay, late delivery, or service interruption caused by the carrier, weather, holidays, routing interruptions, customs, operational disruptions, or other events outside our control.
9. Title and Risk of Loss
Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, title to products and risk of loss pass to the customer when the shipment is transferred to the carrier, and in any event no later than confirmed delivery by the carrier.
10. Wine Restrictions
Wine may be sold or shipped only where legally permitted. By purchasing wine, the customer represents that they and the recipient are at least 21 years of age and that an eligible adult will be available to accept delivery where required.
Wine shipping availability depends on destination, applicable law, and carrier policy. Savor Caviar reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any wine order that cannot be legally or operationally fulfilled.
